Chapter History

The Siskiyou Chapter, NSDAR, was organized on December 16, 1951. Henrietta Wilder Williams (Mrs. Walter Williams) was the chapter's first regent. The chapter's name was chosen because of its location in beautiful and diverse Siskiyou County.  The chapter was formed in Yreka due to its central location in the county.
